Yeah, considering there's a ton of witnesses. I wouldn't act around a bunch of people either. [ but he's thinking on this. ] Given the execution order was delivered by someone even higher up than the mayor and the city's officials, there's nothing to say that it won't be even worse next time. Now that it's an official guideline to this competition. Like high risk for high rewards, but if you fail it's a high cost.

Yeah, that's what I keep getting stuck on. They really haven't offered us anything. They say we "may" act as villains and it's ambiguously on that list of stuff we need to do to win, but it's not an imperative or anything.

If something happens tonight, we'll have to find who did it and ask them if they had extra incentive.
Someone else pointed out that villainy doesn't immediately have to equal murder either. Like...what if somebody just went around looting stores because everybody's asleep and the doors are unlocked? Or they vandalized the mayor's house again? Do those things not count? Or is it only killing one of us?

That's the most we can hope for right now. If something happens, we'll be more ready this time than we were the last. And we just have to make sure we get the right answers.
