What sort of stuff were you doing before we got kidnapped?

Yeah, the first impressions were good. It's just the information we actually got that kind of sucked...

... I was just doing regular stuff. Going to school, doing community service, that kind of thing.

Bleh, school... I definitely don't miss the homework.

I like school. It's kind of like - a luxury that's easy to take for granted, getting to go. ... And we don't normally get that much homework.

Didn't really think about that... but you're not wrong.

Hmm. What made school so bad?

I got bored easily... my dad was a big marine biologist, so of course my mom wanted me to go to school and stuff, get educated, be like him I guess.

Went through a phase of trying my best and getting good grades, but at the end of the day it just didn't feel worth it, I guess?

I see... Maybe you just hadn't found a subject that interested you. But it's important to learn all of the basics so you can be well-rounded.

Something like that... got my basics in at least. Almost went to university, so I think I got what I needed at least, heh.
