Ah, if the front desk is still working, perhaps they have room service ...
[ THEY DON'T. THEY NEVER DID. ]

I tried to red pen the page I found, but it didn't stick.
[ also gives his two CYOA notes, which were w1 and w5. the note that's from today is: ]
The beauty and strength of the moon are not bound by Earthly rules. Where mortals wither and die within a few decades, the moon continues to shine brightly each and every night. Therefore mortal weapons are of no concern to the moon; guns and swords are all for naught under the pale moonlight.

This one was hooked on a beam of the boardwalk ferris wheel.
[So doesn't mention anything involving a seagull and how this page almost was lost. Her vibes are a tad awkward, but it's very faint.
In the unlikely event that the pages are scattered and lost, once they have been found they will once again return to the confines of the book. Making it whole again. It is only then that any changes can be made.

Here's what Danny and I found today.
[ She'll show: ]
How easily heroes can be distracted with an enemy right before their eyes. What is one moon compared to two? Three, or even more? They may have as many moons as they like, each with the natural ability to affect gravity. But why stop there? An attack from afar will destroy their hopes just as well, without even letting them close.

No, it just wasn't the time yet.
[She waves the page she and her team found at the boardwalk. Text is right below Hung's toplevel, yup]

...This is so dumb.
[...]
Argalia's got ours, but it kinda sounds like we might not be able to make any changes until the competition is officially over.

Yeah, I tried to change it so that it was vulnerable to everything we had, combat or not, but it faded as soon as I wrote anything down.
At least we have those powers available... maybe if we get all the pages we can go "okay, the era of Moon Stuff is ended, all the previous stuff only applied then."

[ ok well hung is here later, after they have the rooms and stuff, and he's got moondust and dorm building debris in his fur and hair because he went back to go and dig out his shit from the ox dorm. but he's going to get cleaned up and then barge into the hotel kitchen if anyone wants him to make them anything. punts the cooks out. he's growling under his breath about whatever food he'd put in the slow cooker for overnight, probably.
alternatively he is just hanging out. in whatever spot we have decided is the communal spot. he's not going to get drunk the night before they have to fight the moon and some dude, but he will drinky drank some maybe. idk. i'm tired. ]

[ some kind of small fox with what has been charitably called "an interesting expression" comes over with two pages in its mouth, which it drops on the floor and scoots over with its paw: ]
As these words are written on this page, the light of the moon shares its strength with the heroes below. They may use it, revel in it, master it, but they will never truly own it. These powers are born from the moon's light, and what is given can also be taken away. They will grow weaker and weaker, not understanding why their tools are being taken away. The heroes will fall, weak and lost, while the moonlight falls over them as bright as ever.
The moon's rulings and writings are immutable. What is written within these covers cannot be changed. No matter how much they struggle to find another way out, what is written must come to pass. Even heroes will act as the moon dictates, no matter how against their nature it would be. It is truth as long as it is written. The moon controls fate itself as long as it controls this book.
